Use motion only to clarify state or continuity, keep it within the approved duration and easing tokens, and honour reduced-motion preference.

Purposeful motion
Motion must support understanding rather than decorate routine tasks. Use the approved motion tokens and avoid movement that blocks interaction.
Reduced motion
When reduced motion is requested, remove nonessential animation and reduce transition duration without hiding state changes.
